Das bereits 2007 gestartete Projekt ist seit Februar diesen Jahres als kostenpflichtiges Angebot verfügbar. Die Zugangskosten betrugen 19,99 Euro pro Monat für ein Drei-Monats-Abonnement. Wie die Geschäftsführung weiter mitteilte, werde Bertelsmann die Plattform mit den notwendigen Mitteln ausstatten, bis ein Investor gefunden sei. Seit dem Start Anfang des Jahres wurden auf Scoyo mehr als 4.000 Lernmodule online gestellt. Zuletzt wurde das Programm auf der Frankfurter Buchmesse mit der “Giga-Maus” ausgezeichnet.
