Doch was soll es sein? Das Meinungsforschungsinstitut Synovate hat pünktlich 1.325 Kids und Jugendliche nach ihren sehnlichsten Wünschen befragt.
Manche Sachen ändern sich nie. Hat Opa laut eigener Schilderung damals nur einen Apfel zu Weihnachten bekommen, würde dies auch heutzutage vielen Kids durchaus genügen. Nur, dass ihr Apfel bis zu 40.000 Songs speichert und auch irgendwie cooler aussieht. Was wünschen sich die Kids? Hier das brandaktuelle Ranking:
Auf Platz 1 der 6- bis 12-jährigen rangieren bei 54 Prozent der Befragten unangefochten Computer- und Videospiele nebst der dazugehörigen Hardware. Auch Mädchen zeigen sich deutlich interessiert. Heute stehen Games schon bei jedem zweiten Mädel ganz oben, noch vor zwei Jahren nur bei jedem dritten.
Auf Platz 2 dieser Altersklasse (34 %) rangieren traditionelle Spielsachen wie Rennbahnen, Autos oder Bastelsets, gefolgt von Unterhaltungseletronik (26 %) wie MP3 Playern oder Handys. Bei den Teenagern im Alter von 13 bis 18 Jahren rutscht ein etwas unromantischer Wunsch in die Hitliste: Geld. Jeder vierte wünscht sich bereits Bares.
Auch nach besagtem Apfel wurde gefragt. Für ein Prozent der Kids und fünf Prozent der Jugendlichen ist er das Objekt der Begierde. Schön, dass sich manche Sachen nicht ändern. Schön für Opa. Und die Shareholder.
